SEM-BUNYI RESIDENCE 

In the spirit of the Malay word 'Sem-Bunyi', which is equivalent to 'hide' in English, lies the house's ability to hide, or in this case reverse the architecture from extrovert to introvert with all sounds ('Bunyi') occurring instead on the inside. The clientele's user requirement was to make it a playhouse as a result of the COVID-19 lockdown situation which prevented her from doing things that she enjoys such as playing golf and doing yoga.

This was the first project that I was put in charge of when I joined the company. My task included exploring and designing the façade, staircase, and also the whole interior design for the client's playhouse. Moreover, I was also in charge of producing the Building Plan submission drawings for this project.
