This project calls for a collaborative working community in the heart of the city, that is, to design a healthy working environment for professionals through collaboration and empower them in their work. Using food as a particularly powerful symbol to attract and gather people as well as the trend of healthy eating, my focus is set on food centric theme particularly on the farm-to-table food culture, and "Live, Work and Meet" space. This proposal is derived from a phenomenon seen throughout Malaysia and particularly in Chinatown, Kuala Lumpur.
Exploiting the attraction which food holds, I intend to cooperate in my space where people are able to grow, supply, prepare, serve and eat both local and foreign delicacies which further attracts more people to my site. Transforming the means of food and elevating them to a memorable moment where memory, experience and taste meets. When this happens, it brings back the loss of tradition of the surrounding and the adjacent building which can be a dramatic change. This transformation would also be a source of hope to the poor and needy people.
